The control of CO2 emissions is essential for the fight against climate change. Until now, there are countless CO2 sensor networks made up of a few sensors, they are proprietary and are disconnected from each other. ZertiAir's objective is to create and collaborative, universal, open and reliable network of environmental sensors (CO2, temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity), with low installation cost, minimum maintenance and rapid implementation. The data obtained will be offered in an open format (Open Data), massively accessible via APIs so that they can be used by Smart Cities and in environments related to air quality management and meteorology research.
The “AIR” video is the latest addition in our series of shorts inspired by a climate change.
This publication is coinciding with the COP27 climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh.
EM500-CO2 is designed for measuring gaseous carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in harsh environments. It is useful in the application where knowing CO2 level is important like greenhouse, building ventilation, fruit and vegetable storage. Besides, it also supports temperature, humidity and barometric pressure measurement.

BLOCKCHAIN CERTIFICATION
DATA SHARING
Self-install sensors with Lora Wan connection, powered by a long lasting battery (5-10 years).
One NFT licence, connected with a unique serial number for each sensor, certifies the origin of the received data.
Long rance of Lora WAN network with blockchain encryption
Present scenario: There are many cost prohibitive sensors that have been developed by different providers. By not being compatible, those applications, if in any way connected, generate redundant data. They are more expensive and less practical for wider use.
Open Data Network: More flexible data sharing on every level – from administration to the final user. Instantaneous and simple data delivery at the best price.
Blockhain, by being decentralized, neutral and bulletproof network, offers unprecedented grade of security for its users.
Location & Activity Level
Our projections show that the adoption of ZertiAir model by public administration and Smart Cities in general will be massive in a very close future. OpenData model will make possible for developers to come up with WEB3 applications and open new possibilities using CO2 sensors as a starting point. Blockhain certified data will, almost certainly, influence the development of AI powered industry as well. It all together open doors to our better understanding of the future climate models connected with CO2.

Blockchain is, in a nutshell, an encrypted, distributed database.
Every transaction is recorded in a totally unalterable way. The blockchain nodes are in charge of validating and recording transactions by strict consensus, so that a majority can discard any manipulation attempt. Currently, it is being used in sectors such as banking, insurance, health or the aerospace industry, among others. Mayor advantages offered by blockchain technology are: verified transactions, transparency and timestamp of events.
